Le jeudi 17 novembre 2016.

Bonsoir,

It came to my attention that yesterday's picture weren't showing. Hopefully, you can see them today. Please let me know.

A group of students worked with Mme Beraldin on analysing sentences. Merci Mme Beraldin!

I just wanted to give you the template again to have your child follow this format during the week. Your child is encouraged to hand me their sheet of 20 sentences for me to correct and give feedback. By doing this activity, your child will build vocabulary and improve his/her spelling.

In class, your child is encouraged to speak French on a daily basis.

Monday:  Write 20 sentences.  (Your child is encouraged to use adjectives to describe). Have your child bring in the sentences to get corrected.
For example: Le gros chien noir marche dans la grande forêt.

Tuesday: Read 15 minutes out loud.

I would like to reinforce the importance of having your child read out loud. By reading out loud, your child is listening to his/her voice (pronunciation) of the words and can start correcting himself/herself.

Wednesday: Watch a French television show.

more exposure=comfortable in understanding the language.

Thursday: Go online and play a French activity.

It is always fun!
Bonne soirée!

Mme Mathieu
